When temperatures heat up, it is crucial that you pay close
attention to water safety and drowning prevention. Summer activities around the
pool or spa can be fun and refreshing. A few seconds though, and your summer
fun can be destroyed. Many media markets focus upon child drowning, however,
adult water fatalities have increased.
Since1998, there were 877 water related emergencies. Of this 275 deaths occurred. 104 children died, however 171 of the water related deaths were ADULTS! Drowning is 100% preventable! Below you will find some useful tips to prevent such needless tragedies:
