Subject: Sun City Fire Public
Education Division Expansion Program into the Schools!
Composed By: Stacy
Lynne Bodenstedt
Fire
Community Relations Specialist
The Sun City Fire
Department is now expanding fire prevention education in the schools. Yes, that
is right; school aged students ranging from Kindergarten through Seventh Grade!
The Sun City Fire
Department responds to Sun City, Youngtown and to Citrus Point (along with
other mutual aide cities). Because of this, being able to teach and educate
individuals of all ages and abilities about safety is crucial to help prevent
fire and health emergencies.
Stacy Bodenstedt
along with her team members from the Sun City Fire Department will be visiting
New Joy Charter School on a monthly basis to help promote, and persevere in
prevention education.
The Mission of the
Sun City Fire Department centers itself around education – and if education is
what the community as a whole needs, that is what the fire department will
continually strive to promote.
If your group or
organization is also interested in setting up educational presentations and
training, please contact the Sun City Fire Department’s Fire Community Relation
Specialist, Stacy Lynne Bodenstedt at (623) 974-2321.
